• None: Your income is below the Personal Allowance, or your interest is within the tax-free Personal Savings Allowance.
• Basic Rate (20%): Your income is between £12,571 and £50,270. You get a £1,000 tax-free Personal Savings Allowance.
• Higher Rate (40%): Your income is between £50,271 and £125,140. You get a £500 tax-free Personal Savings Allowance.
• Additional Rate (45%): Your income is over £125,140. There is no tax-free allowance.
